May came and went

Where does all the time go? Oh, I know these days - it's spent with good friends, family and lots of yummy food! This is what happens when your parents come visit! Long, lovely evenings outside on the veranda after a good barbeque. See that nice grill? We got it last year, and only now finally got around to setting up and using it up. We wanted to wait until my pappa could take part in the initiation, and now both he and the grill were here! It was delicious.

And I just had to share this new salmon recipe I made up the other day - it tasted so good, I have to make it again!

Salmon fillet
A little oil
Teriyake sauce
Grated lemon zest
Toasted sesame seeds
Toasted sunflower seeds
Blanched, slivered and toasted almonds
Chopped flat leaf parsley

Oil an oven safe pan. Put your salmon fillet in. Pour some teriyake sauce over the salmon. Sprinkle grated lemon zest over. Sprinkle toasted seeds, almonds and parsley over. Cover the pan and put the pan in a 200C preheated oven until the fish is cooked through. Serve with rice and a salad.

That sounds MOST delicious!! We must try it when we come to visit this October! It was a pleasure to (finally) meet you and we look forward to sharing more fun adventures together!
