Just because I haven't blogged about knitting lately doesn't mean that the needles are totally idle these days. I am nearing the end on a shawl which I am not totally happy about, but I will tell you about that later. For now, about an FO - finished object. (I love those!)
During the winter I made a
meret for my mother out of Nepal - a (then) brand new yarn from Garnstudio. It was so soft and wonderful to work with, I had to make one for myself as well. As luck would have it, they didn't have enough of the delicious purple in stock for me (only one skein left...) but there was this lighter blue left, so that was what I got. And I am pretty happy about it. It is wonderful to wear, so soft and warm. Not itchy at all. Now all I need is for there to be winter so I can wear it again.
