Light in darkness

Now that it is getting dark outside, at least here in the Northern hemisphere, it is time to make things cozy and warm and lit up at home. For my birthday I got this beautiful candle, a real girlie candle, pink with glitter. And it is sooo beautiful. Even Mr.T agrees to that!

Mr.T likes to turn out the light much earlier than I do, and the light on my side of the bed is bothersome to him. I also don't like to turn on the light when I wake up in the middle of the night, but I don't like to be entirely dark either. Sigh... I used to have a perfect book light which I could attach to my book and read from, and also use in the middle of the night. The perfect amount of light, and not so much that it bothered Mr.T. But then my book light's tiny little light bulb went, and it seems it cannot be bought anywhere, so it was essentially dead. And that could have been the very sad end to this story.

Then my parents came to visit. Enter Mr.NightOwl into our lives. Tada! (Thank you, mamma!!) He is a very serious fellow, don't you think? It is clear he takes his duties very serious. Here he is clearly warming up for the night's shift. Looks like there is a lot on his mind!

Here Mr. NIghtOwl is all lit up. He is both practical AND cute. Just look how sweet it is all lit up with his belly full of light!
Now Mr.T can sleep next to me, and I have light from Mr.NightOwl here. Happy times all around!
